Meet Joe (Project Director) and Angie Cousins and their two kids Lily and Eli. Joe and Angie Cousins first met on a Lifelines Summer project in 2001 and we married 2 years later. Joe was the first full time lifelines staff member with Campus Crusade for Christ and currently Joe and Angie direct the Lifelines Ministry at the University of Maine Orono. Joe and Angie are registered Maine whitewater guides. Joe also is a registered Maine sea-kayaking guide and an American Mountain Guide Association and Professional Climbing Instructor Association top rope site manager. Joe is also an Emergency Medical Technician and Wilderness First Responder. We are looking forward to guiding you around the great state of Maine and into a closer walk with God.
Meet Ryan and Stephanie Bethel (Associate Project Director). Ryan and Stephanie were just married last August. Stephanie has been on staff with Lifelines for five years and Ryan for two. They are currently on staff at the University of Maine. Ryan is an EMT, Wilderness First Responder, AMGA top-rope instructor, and a Registered Maine Sea Kayak and Whitewater Guide. Stephanie is also a Wilderness First Responder, and a Registered Maine Sea Kayak and Whitewater Guide. They can’t wait to spend the summer with you in Acadia!
Meet Dan Litchfield. Dan, and his wife Heather, are the Lifelines directors for The University of Vermont. In their 11 years on staff they have served as campus staff at the University of Maine Orono and have had the joy of helping build Growth Model Ministries from the ground up and Maine Catalytic. Dan and Heather add flavor to the project through Dan’s steadiness and wisdom and Heather’s boundless energy. Both Dan and Heather are certified Wilderness First Responders, licensed Maine and N.Y. White-Water Guides and Maine Recreational Guides. Dan is also AMGA Top Rope Site Manager.
Meet Geoff (Operations Director) and Michelle Freeman. They are the proud parents of Emily, Tobias, Olivia and Mathias. The kiddos look forward to playing with you this summer. This will be the Freeman’s fourth summer in Acadia and they keep coming back because they experience God’s grace in way that is life-giving and better enables them to minister throughout the rest of life. Geoff and Michelle look forward to growing with you this summer in Acadia. Come join us!
